In the start of time
God decided that the humans of the world were ungrateful beings, who stole, hurt one another, and killed. So he decided that since he could no longer punish the humans himself, he made beings that would teach the humans fear, and hopefully keep them in line.
He called them the marasouls, which translated into vampire, but what god didn't intend to happen was so horrific that he needed a way to stop them so he created the hunters, the only beings that could hunt these damaged beings.
the six Marasouls would soon learn they could create others like them, but not as strong or with the ability's that they have. But what happens when the only thing they thought they could count on falls apart?
