The Battle of Goodwin's Grave

Ruby is a young witch, forced to leave home after enduring 11 years of her mother's hatred after the tragic death of her father on her 7th birthday. Ruby runs away to the old abandoned castle, Goodwin's Grave, in order to escape her mother and harness her power. She is unaware of the other forces which have taken up residence there and what mysteries lie inside the castle's walls. Her heart is full of despair and darkness, but will she find a way to let in the light? Or will she become part of the darkness, a Grim, a creature with no heart or soul? Can she be saved or will she become another force of evil, another puppet of the force of true evil which resides in Vladimir's Valley?
