There are legends of dragon, but they're magical creatures, magic was banned hundreds of years ago after the great purge. Before that there a legends of dragon heirs, blood line wasn't the deciding factor in who ruled the kingdom, the dragon heirs did. You didn't choose to be royal, it chose you. But like I said, those are just legends.. Or are they? When Terrance's brother is killed for the knowledge of one stone she flees to a forbidden land and learns her destiny isn't what she thought it would be
