Summary: Emma Stone (not the actor)(Amanda Seyfried): Is a college freshmen that has just graduated high school. She is a dancer, it's her passion it's the only thing she can think about. She is going to Northwestern. It's in Chicago not too far from her home; New York. She's ready for this she is ready to finally be on her own to see the world and to just be able to dance every day. That's all she's been looking forward to since her freshmen year in high school. Her dad left when she was about 15. She never told anyone why. He just kind of just up and left one day, and no one asked why. So for the time being it's been just her and her mom. Her mom is skittish so when dad left things got a little heavy. Everyone calls her insane. So at her home town she didn't have many friends. This is why college would be the best escape for her. That is until she meet none other than Matthew West. And let's just say after that is anything but a fairy tale.
