Small-town Scandal

Brett Steele was an entrepreneur from a young age, he was taught the foundations of running a business from his father. The small town of Eversee Heights didn't see much business flow through its doors until Brett opened up his E-Cigarette-slash-coffee shop. He bought out apartment buildings, renovated the old fire-hall into a Bar & Grill, and aspires to do more with his blooming career inside the town. Being in his mid-thirties, he had it all. The only thing he couldn't figure out was love. On his third wife, Brett can't seem to find happiness in romance.

No one expected that Laurel Kendall would ever make much of herself at University in the city, expecting that she would come back to Eversee Heights with a useless degree on her belt. Little did they know that she would get picked up by one of the top five publishing houses in the country, returning to town in order to start her writing career.

Laurel's high-functioning autistic brother, Devon, works as a manager for Brett Steele at his coffee shop. Devon tells Laurel that if she needs an apartment, that Brett is the person to go to. Little did Laurel know that her brother's boss would be so handsome and alluring, the only problem is that he is married.

Sparks fly when lust cannot be smothered, even if scandal may arise.
