In Coraline Greywell's world, everyone looks at the world in black and white, that is, until their soulmate comes around to "brighten" things up. Coraline has been able to see in color ever since she was about four years old and saw a little blonde boy at a birthday party. Her mother never found out until years later when she noticed that not everyone saw the world as she did. Ever since then, Coraline has given up all hope of finding her soulmate and has dedicated her life to her writing and music. She has learned to never, ever hope for anything that isn't likely to happen. That is, until Luke Hemmings came along.
