"Are you fully aware of what the consequences are?", the beautiful witch of the sea asked, her voice old and rigged.
"Yes", the mermaid quietly said, fear showing in her eyes.
"Then you know that I want token in return", Daeva spoke. "Let me warn you that the Lady of the seas will be upset. She has seen your future, and it is not a happy ending."
"Nothing will change my mind, ask for anything. Anything", Aliyana begged, clasping her hands together. The witch smiled, knowing what she wished for.
"Your voice", she said, shocking the emerald eyed girl.
"How will I communicate?", the mermaid asked.
"You shall learn elsewhere. For now, use your body, though your eyes show quite a bit too."
"But-"
"It means much to you. It is what helps you to support your family. After all, even the Lady has claimed your voice to be the most beautiful in throughout the many seas."
The girl was torn. Stay with her family, or find love with a human. She was scared, knowing she would turn to sea foam if something went wrong. She had heard the witch, the Lady knowing her ending would not be well.
"I have to try", Aliyana whispered to herself.
"I will sweeten the deal. You shall have the ability to speak once."
"I... I accept your deal."
"So be it."

Although terrified, he moves forward to help untangle her as no one else is moving. He prays that she'll forgive him. Worry forms when she takes a lock of his hair. Was that a way of marking him? Regardless, he doesn't fight, not wanting to make it worse. Worry increases when she's spotted again. Muriel begins to develop a crush on Prince Philip after he frees her from the net. When her sister's displeasure with her grows worse, Muriel seeks to avoid it. In a desperate attempt to do so she finds herself cave of the sea witch Minerva. Philip's kindness remains prominent in her mind when Minerva offers her a choice to be a human. Hesitantly she agrees, unaware of how different the human world from hers. Philip's bodyguard begins to catch on that Muriel is different and Percy and the king quickly become desperate to find her. My own version of "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen. Thank you. Started; 01/30/2023 Finished; 02/06/2023 Plot; Princess Lucia is a seventeen year old girl who lived with her mother and father. The king and queen. She has a twin brother named Lucas. Little that she doesn't know, her brother try to get rid of her due to envy. He was younger than her. Lucia was being appointed to become the next queen for the kingdom. The royal guards ambushed the princess and took her away to the witch's house near the ocean. The two white witches agreed to help the princess for her desperate plea to return to her home castle. And stop her brother for his act of disposing his only twin sibling. The two white witches told her to take a swim in the sea before leaving. Before Lucia tries to get out of the water, she was suddenly transformed into a mermaid by the two white witches. There are two ways to break the spell before her time is up by the next month. If Lucia gets a kiss by the merman, she'll be a mermaid for all eternity. If the princess gets a kiss from the prince on land, she will be human again. If not, she will be lost in the world of water. Will Lucia see her family again as a mermaid? How is she going to reach them if she can't swim as a mermaid? Princess Lucia was new to be a mermaid. She has a long way to see her pink tail fin works in the ocean floor.Complete

I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.Complete
