It's been approximately 10 years since Challis cut off communication with the rest of the world when the government collapsed. In the year 2005 an unknown disease of unknown origin which causes complete devastation to the brain and mutation to cells in the body spread quickly, contaminating a large percentage of the human population. Being incurable and causing hostile and primitive thinking abilities to the infected, the worlds governments united to develop a vaccine antidote for those who were not yet afflicted. Before finally creating a successful cure, they accidentally released another virus into the world. The small town of Challis learns to fight off many dangers in this collapsed new world as its inhabitants search for answers and saftey.

Becoming Them: A Zombie Novel di xNadiyahx

What would you do if one second you were struggling to survive with your friends and mother in tow, and then you wake up to find yourself with a group of strangers the next - all during the country's takeover of blood-thirsty zeds? Megan couldn't believe her eyes. Her brain was muddled with confusion she couldn't get rid of, no matter how many times those strangers reassured her and explained what happened. But she had to accept it, even though it didn't make any sense to her. Megan had been with her mother every step of the way since everything turned to chaos, beginning just a year before, and now she was nowhere to be seen. And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. She would soon find out just how far people would go to ensure their own survival. -------------- Please check out my first finished novel. Back by popular request! The 2017 rough draft of The Virus Within! (Caution: Contains massive plotholes that were fixed in the polished The Virus Within Series. Grammar issues are present, particularly missing commas.) What do you do when you are one of the infected? The virus in my blood is trying to steal my humanity. It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test. -------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book. It has nothing to do with A Different Virus. I wanted to try a book with an easily irritated main character and a nutcase secondary character. This book has a slightly darker outlook at the beginning than my usual stories, but it has some humor further along. Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.

EXTRACT FROM BOOK: I don't know how to live anymore. With everyone I care about dead, all I can do is focus on Survival finding Food, Fresh Water and Keeping away from the dangerous groups of Reluquos. After the Disease that killed off the Majority of the world finally deceased it left the world a Hostile and Dangerous place. With approximately 2,500 people left in America and 15,000 left in the world, it isn't often you come across someone just passing by, there are three main groups that stick together The Beati, who are the apocalyptic version of a hippy, The Operarios Group (just normal people trying to survive), and then of course The Reluquos the power hungry killers who execute anyone who try's to get in their way or disagrees with them. Oh and then there are just the Loners like me hoping to find somewhere they can fit in and belong. I don't know what made me go this route but for some reason I did and now I'm standing face to face with a Reluquos Army Leader. His strong arm grips onto my Shoulder stopping me from moving, He regards me coolly studying my face for signs of fear, which I'm trying my damned hardest to suppress. Finally he talks....

Having discovered that he, and only he, has the ability to draw demons out of the Possessed, he decides that he must have been chosen to lead the 'new world.' However, his attempts to bring the 'chosen few' under his wing do not go as well as he hopes. Lindsey, on the other hand, falls into a category of his own. As a vampire, death is no stranger, but given the lack of newly deads to choose from after the post-Flu population drop, avoiding starvation has become a struggle. He survives by sleeping through his days, but the arrival of a past enemy and a less-than-wise decision to help a murderer force him back onto the road. Unfortunately, he quickly discovers that the new world does not follow the same logic that it did before. TL;DR - Most of the world died from a flu pandemic so there's a post-apocalyptic type situation where demons possess people.

If you couldn't tell already, this is a story about Resident Evil 3. I'm taking everything only from the remake of 2020. I thought of this idea when watching Jacksepticeye's playthrough, so I'll be taking from his gameplay and spinning the story on its head. I do recommend watching or playing the game for yourself before reading this. It'll really make sense if you do. Just a fair warning, this will have graphic content and violent words. And now, here's the description. You, 14 year old Y/N were raised in Raccoon City. A city were you made and lost friends and family. A city that you felt alone in. A city that has now been overrun by deadly creatures. You only knew that this could be Umbrella's doing given their experiments were so secluded from the public when everything they tell you is "Everything is fine if you listen to us."
