You know that awkward moment when your ex boyfriend calls you by the name you used to go by in front of another guy you used to be friends with because he still thinks you're the person you used to be? And all of this is happening with both of you leaning out the window in the middle of the night because your new neighbor was playing his music so loud it almost shook your fillings loose and you look like shit because who actually takes their makeup off before going to bed?
Oh, you don't know that awkward moment? Well lucky you because not everybody has that luxury. Luke, formerly known as Lucia, does. She also knows that life isn't always easy being a gender fluid (predominately feminine), bisexual, living in the South, were homophobia is everywhere and people don't take to kindly to someone like her. Nobody here understood that she was just stuck in the middle.

"Give me a reason then." The boy demanded, eyes fuelled by a rage that was not unknown to him. "What?" Emmett questioned. "Give me a reason, tell me a lie, that contradicts to what you feel for me and I swear to you, I'd leave you alone." "I don't feel anything for you." Emmett easily lied, ignoring the ache in his heart at his words. "Not good enough." Emmett lashed out, shaking with agony as he had never known as his voice quivered pathetically, "I look at you and I see my world-shattering into these despicable shards of audaciousness that reflect my only desires, otherwise deemed unworthy by the universe. This is what I truly feel for you." "Is that what you really feel for me, darlin'?" "Yes and don't call me that, my name is-" "I don't care what your name is, just answer me." The boy vehemently interrupted, fiercely questioning him again. - Can a broken boy find love in an ostracised world where gender roles and even sexual desire is shaped to suit the society? Meet Emmett Anderson, an eighteen-year-old dreamer with high hopes for his future. When he is kicked out of his home by his aristocratic parents for being different and gay, his life has never been so tough. Whilst searching for a place to crash in, he has to temporarily take refuge in an abandoned park and that is when he meets an enigmatic, nameless stranger. Things heat up when they both start to become closer to one another, but there is still so much that Emmett is unable to comprehend about the aforementioned boy. Join him on the most enthralling journey of his life mingled with pride, indiscrimination, lies, danger, a bit of an adventure, with undulated romance to the admixture.

Luke Dixon was a tea-loving liar. He was a master of deception and lying to make others happy. On paper, he lived the "perfect" life, but in reality, he would do anything to get rid of the nagging thoughts that surrounded him and the overwhelming feeling of distress when he looked into the mirror. Liev Bellomy was a troubled cause. He never had a good life and since a young age he had to fend for himself. He was known for his reputation of being a messed up guy who was not worth the time.
