The Flickering Flames is a society of fire magic dwellers in the land of Sheam. They have been there as long as anyone can remember. Legend has it that long ago there were water magic dwellers in Sheam as well but they had all been wiped out when the newly appointed leader of the fire mages deemed them unfit to remain. Sarzan believed that the fire mages were superior to all other people and ruled the land with an iron fist. He appointed himself as ruler of Sheam and has been for hundreds of years.
No one quite knows how he has managed to stay alive for so long. Some say he is just that powerful and his magic keeps him young. Others say he makes a special potion from the blood of the Zyn creatures that roam the forest of Menth. No one dares to cross him and those that have were executed publicly.
The people live in fear with no way of gaining freedom from Sarzan's tyrannical ways. It seemed as though there was no hope. A teenage girl could be the savior that Sheam needs. Fasia was gathering some water from the river when she got frustrated and accidentally used water magic. Hope could be restored but is Fasia's water magic strong enough to quench the fire inside of Sheam?
Fasia must act quickly before Sarzan discovers her.

Not As It Seems
Once upon a time, Xadia was a unified land, filled with wonder and magic. At the dawn of time, there were six primary sources of magic, the sun, moon, stars, earth, sky and ocean. But a thousand years ago, a magician from a human tribe discovered a new power, the seventh source, black magic. It uses the essence of all magical creatures to awaken the forces of evil. Terrified by this sight, dragons and elves decided to put an end to the madness. Human mages, however, did not want to give up, and stood up to fight against the elves and dragons. The human mages using unimaginable black magic began to win. But then on the side of the elves and dragons stood the Flenimu, born from the union of human and elf. With their help, they managed to drive the humans westward. Then the continent was divided into two parts, Xadia or the eastern magical land and the western kingdoms of humans. For centuries the border was guarded by the dragon king himself. the people called him Thunder, because his voice made the earth and sky tremble. But before the day of the last coming of winter, people exterminated Grom, and then without a shadow of mercy destroyed his only egg, his successor, the dragon prince. The Amulet Quest
Yin and Yang. Light cannot exist without Darkness, and Darkness cannot exist without Light. However one such World defies these terms. This is the world that the Council Of Elementals resided. Aided those fated to be heroes by gifting them a power from birth. However this land is engulfed with shadows by a villainous foe, intent on ruining the peace and prosperity ruling over the land. The Elementals powers suddenly are not their own to give anymore, and sometimes it is gifted to evil. This cycle took root. A villain would rise, aided by the power of an Elemental, and then a hero gifted with the power of an elemental would also rise to face them. Set through trials to reach the Cave Of The Elements, to deem weither they are ready for the task. However along this millennia of repeated villains and heroes new tradition have been set in place for the Elementals. Traditions that restrain even addressing each other by name. And when Derik the Destroyer arises, conquering kingdoms and towns alike, they don't know if it can be stopped. Will the new chosen hero be enough? Or will fate gather together a band of worthy heroes and defy the Elementals 'sacred' tradition, to banish the shadows from their land? Seeds of Sorcery
Prologue: The Prophecy In ancient times, it was said that a great power would arise, a power that would bring magic back to the forefront of the worlds. It was said that this power would be born of lightning and fire and that it would be wielded by a mage of great strength and courage. The world would face great upheaval and danger, but magic would be the key to survival. There will come those who will unite the kingdoms and empires, and they will bring an end to the darkness that has long shadowed the land. It was said that these mages would be the saviour of the worlds and that they would bring hope and light to all. But for many years, the prophecy remained unfulfilled. Magic seemed to be ending, few remained that could wield it. The darkness seemed to grow. The people slowly forgot and those that remembered lost hope, the kingdoms and empires fell and changed and with it brought chaos. But then, one day, a young girl was born in a small village far from the capital. She was born under the sign of lightning, and she had the power of magic within her. And so, the prophecy began. The first of them had arisen, and the journey to bring magic back had begun.
Rising of the Weakest Mage
(Please read first two chapters for info, thank you!) For a long time, elemental magic has been widely known, used, and practiced. Elemental magic is based upon the four core elements - Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Elemental magic is most prominent in England, where many mages gather to learn and research elemental magic. However, during the early 1500's, the Fire Outbreaks happened. Several various fire mages suddenly swept through and destroyed the smaller cities of England, killing many in their way and leaving no survivors. Due to this the Council of Magic, the governing figure of elemental magic, issued an act - The Anti-Fire Act. This effectively banned any and all use of fire magic within all of England. The Council of Magic was later changed to the Triumvirate in the 1540's, and from then on are set on killing off every last fire mage. Allen Fleming, a 15 year old air mage, wishes to attend the Magical Knights Academy. The academy is where many young, prominent mages attend to improve their use of magic, and eventually become a magical knight. Magical knights are the respected mages who protect the cities of England and keep its citizens safe. But in order to even attend the academy, Allen must first pass the entrance exam. However, Allen's magic is extremely weak and he relies mostly on his physical fighting ability. Air is considered the strongest element within England, and with his lack of air magic prowess, many mages hate and ignore him. But what many do not know, is that Allen possesses a second element - the fire element! Without knowing who his real parents are, and having to keep his fire magic a secret, Allen has to work hard if he ever wishes to become a magical knight and achieve his goals. However, with tensions rising within the Triumvirate, fire mages on the run, and other events happening behind the scenes, Allen must go from being the weakest to the strongest if he even hopes to stop what may be coming in the near future.Complete

No robots in houses, but workhouses instead. Telekinetic pencils... that's possible, if you are gifted with the power of telekinesis. There are dark truths hidden behind closed doors, that only few know. Truths that if they got out, would bring the downfall of the government. A government that has been deceiving people for generations. But they haven't been as careful as they thought, because 100 years ago, one guy found out their secrets. 100 years ago, one guy started the rebellion that would bring about the end. From burning books, rewriting history and breaking human rights, this government will stop at nothing to make it seem that they are doing good. But people have had enough, the secret came out before. Together they work to find out the truth, but things have gotten worse over the last century and this may not only bring around the downfall of the government. Fire Fox
It's dangerous to leave fire going while leaving camp. But some people just don't care, why come camp out in the woods in the first place? Whatever the answer is, I hope you're happy. A mystical forest is said to hold spirits of the ancient animals that once lived there, many creatures roam the forest. Some humans wish to see said beings, though they never are able to. Said for one family who decided to try and ended up with nothing, they didn't think about putting out their campfire. A young fox happened to roam where they had just left, seeing the red and orange flames dance in the blackened wood. It got closer and closer, not knowing the dangers. A simple pop and the poor baby fox's fur was set to flames, or ran frantically to get them to go away, but its efforts weren't enough, it simply burned to death, turning into ashes. It's soup now roams the forest, its body made entirely of flames, see as its journey takes him much farther than anticipated. What will come of this young fox? Will it accept its knew life or become impure like the Unrien, darkened souls that leak dangers during the night.Complete
