It isn't easy being a mutant, especially as two kids living on the streets with nothing but each other. Nevertheless, Alex and Troy manage. They are, after all, air-manipulating and teleporting monsters whilst in their shiro forms.

One day, on a mission to retrieve an artifact that they believe will give them more information on their existence, the pair find themselves facing off with a Cretia -- a ruthless monster with no qualms for killing -- and losing. By only a miracle are they saved.

Their saviors aren't like anyone they've ever met in their already-crazy life. In an instant, they go from solo fighters to joining up with STAT, a government agency from the distant future, and a group of other mutants, just like them, only more Ancient Egyptian or technologically snotty.

In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. When the opportunity comes along to enroll as a first-year at F Class Academy, an up-and-coming school for the most dangerous mutants of the generation, it means opening his eyes to an entirely new world, one where mutant life isn't as easy as he thought it was.
