Torture is nothing new. A common way of getting information from unwilling enemies. It can be camaraderie between friends - a joke acted on with pillow fights and tickling wars. Something funny that provides amusing entertainment for both the participants and audience. Something light-hearted with no serious threat. Or, it can have you begging for death. Acted on through dagger and gun - slashes and bangs of agonising pain. Something with the most deadly intent. Something that no one can refuse giving answers to. Helena is the most-experienced torturer in the world. Sought after by many people with vendettas and thoughts of revenge, she accepts a high price in exchange for her services - to retrieve valuable information by any means possible. But what happens when she allows her heart to let someone past its steel-coated armour? What happens when she watches him grow up, protecting him at every turn? What happens when he becomes her next job? And what happens when refusing to torture him, will mean the death of both of them? One thing's for certain, they don't call her the Hell-Bringer for nothing.
