A boy named Adrien was only a few months old when he had to flee his home country of England, in order to stay protected from assassins while being "forced" to an arranged marriage, and also trying to protect his home Paris in which he grew up to be Chat Noir the protector of Paris. The people soon begin to wonder where Ladybug and Chat Noir have gone, and the city is sent into chaos. But perhaps that is not the most important of the things that are to come ...
