So, this is my first story and I have no idea if it will be any good. Sorry for the mistakes ;)

Description:
My father died just last year. He may have been my father by blood but let's just say that he had a temper and was a little sick in the head. My mother, five siblings, and I just moved into an apartment a few blocks from the school that we will now start attending, Richard High. We did not come from the best of backgrounds, not even close, but we are learning to live with it and move on. We all deal with it in different ways or you could say some of us deal with it by not dealing with it.
My family and I are finally learning what it feels like to not be afraid to come home. I wish I could say we were free now, but sometimes just because the problem died does not mean the side affects disappear as well.
My siblings and I do not get along very well either, but when push comes to shove you better pray you weren't the one involved. We look out for each other, but our defenses are always up even with the people that are closest to us. Our trust has been misused and when that happens it's hard to trust the people that you are closest to even if they have given you no reason to doubt them in the first place. Somebody else that should have been a protector abused his right, so it's hard for us to see that not everyone is fake.
