Lily is seventeen, she loves to sing and her favorite hobby is photography along with other talents. She always seems so happy, it radiates from her and onto the people around her. But Lily also struggles with self-esteem, mild panic attacks, mild depression, and to top it all off high school. Her worst enemy will always be herself, and the harsh criticism of life. As strange boys, bothersome brothers, and the challenges of the average teenage life push her boundaries it raises the question of will she let her mind win? Or rise to life's challenges?

Ryan is a high school junior. It's her first year in high school. She's been home schooled her entire life due to her overprotective mother. Her first year in high school makes her believe she's insane and gets her put in a mental home within a few weeks. Now that she's back she's frowned upon the people who promises to be by her side. She goes from the most popular girl in school to a social outcast. She has no prince charming besides her classmate who is in between loving her and every other girl. On her final straw she's ready to take her life but before she does she starts a video diary explaining the faults in her mind and everyone around her.
