William Whitewater is a new exchange student at Egbert High School, but he comes from mysterious origins and appears to be hiding something big. He is also incredibly short for his grade. Braiden has always had it easy: tall, handsome, athletic, and with a future paved by his wealthy parents. At 18, he's coasting through life, not worrying about grades, relationships, or expectations-except for one. His secret relationship with James, his childhood friend who's quiet, skinny, and has never quite fit in. They've been together for two years, but they've kept their love hidden, never acknowledging each other in public, especially not at school. James, still struggling with his identity, feels safe and loved only when he's with Braiden. With Braiden, he can open up, be himself, and escape the judgment he faces as a quiet, awkward nerd with no friends. But he's terrified of being seen with Braiden, fearing it'll reveal his secret and ruin the only good thing he's ever had. Braiden, though, feels guilty. He loves James and wishes he could break free from his insecurities and show the world who he truly cares for. As their relationship grows more complicated, both boys wrestle with their fears and desires, questioning whether it's possible to be true to themselves while keeping their love behind closed doors. But the pressure of secrecy may be too much to bear as they inch closer to a breaking point-will they risk everything for love, or will they keep pretending they're just mere acquaintances. {James's character is semi-based off myself while Braiden's physical attributes and personality are based purely on me 💀}
