Elodie Wiley is plain, maybe average on a good day. Her hard work has gotten her nowhere in life. Her determination is cloaked under the diffident shell she wears. Her beauty is unseen by the human eye. She is just like every other girl out there. She is just Elodie.

The Praetorian boys are coveted and held on a mile high pedestal. Their parents' money have made them well known and their good looks have made them the top dogs. Nobody dares stand in their way, except for the new simple-minded girl in town.
