"There is a legend of an immortal group of fierce warriors called the Hunters. They used to be the king's champions and generals. The people feared them. Soon the king wanted to flaunt his glory, but the Hunters grew angry that a mortal would try to control them and they revolted. Reeking havoc on the towns people. The king, trying to regain control exiled them from the country, but that only angered them more. In the dead of night they crept into the princesses chambers and took her from her bed. She was never heard from again. Soon virgen women were disappearing frequently, and they became known as the hunted. Or at least that's how the legend goes."
Kara is a girl at the age of marrige in the cream of society, and she completely loaths it. She's never liked responsability, but is constently thrown into it. She had always been defiant and sarcastic, but that had not been enough to save her from becoming one of the hunted.
