Oliver Sykes and Josh Franceschi used to be best friends until Oli suddenly disappeared. No one knew where him and his family went. They seemed to have vanished from existence. It was like they weren't even there and were just figments of imaginations --leaving behind only what felt like memories.

How does someone simply disappear like that then come back as if nothing ever happened?

 They don't, not without someone noticing how different you were from back then and now. Josh seems to notice a lot of things wrong with the boy he grew up with. He wasn't the sweet and innocent Oliver he knew, no, he was a totally different person. A person who didn't know how to control their anger. A person who seemed stronger, faster, and downright going on the highway to blood and death.

Will Josh ever find out what happened to sweet, little ol' Oliver?
Or will he remain in the darkness with the rest of the school?
