A Life Away From The City
A Life Away from the City is a reflection of two worlds that shaped my growing years.
The first part tells the story of friendship simple days, shared laughter, and the small but meaningful moments spent away from the noise of the city. It is about the people who became home in ordinary days, and the memories that stayed even after time and distance changed everything.
The second part is a poem dedicated to my grandmother a personal piece of grief, love, and remembrance. It speaks of her warmth, her presence in my childhood, and the painful reality of slowly losing someone who once felt like the center of home. It is written from the heart, carrying both love and loss in every line.
Like many of us, I also experienced a grandmother's love, the kind that feels safe, comforting, and unconditional. And like many, I also experienced how painful it is when someone you love slowly fades away, until only memories remain.
