Nika isn't just the White Queen's niece, she's the exiled red queen's daughter. The white queens has been given custody of Nika until she is of age to rule, that is, if she proves to be better than her mother.
Mirko is the Hatter's son, flirty, fun, funny and insane like his father, but he's better at hiding it. Mirko and Nika are both students at Wonder Academy for gifted royals. You may be wondering, the hatter is a royal? Yes. He is not only the General of the White army, but the royal tailor.
Threats are coming from the far south where the red queen was sentenced to exile, but the thing is, the red queen's head was just sent to the white palace. Who is threatening Wonderland? The answer is hidden in the pages of time.
