"Sticks and stone can brake my bone, but words will never hurt me." - Ever heard this? I'll tell you right now, this quote is WRONG. Though one may be able to ignore insults spoken against them, that does not mean they are not hurt. Words are POWERFUL! Do NOT underestimate them! Everything spoken has some sort of effect upon us, sometimes we just refuse to admit it, other times we don't even know.
All I do here is use those powerful words to make you feel things. So go ahead and try it. Pay attention and I may be able to change your day, week, hey maybe your entire life. Try not to get too pulled in to what I write, remember... they're just Simple Words.

There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him.
