The Sky's the Limit

The Empyrean is the land that lies above the Earth. Empyreans are the beings that inhabit that land. Each of the Empyreans have a power, their own way to survive.

Kiara Gray has lived in the same small house on Earth since she can remember, and doesn't want any thing to change right now. In a year she'll be eighteen, and she'll be on her own. That's all she wants.

And that's how things are looking until she meets Dominic and Alex, who tell her about the Empyrean. They show that they mean no harm, but the Empyrean seems more dangerous when a man nearly kills one of her friends and kidnaps Kiara and Dominic. And on top of it all, she's told she's a princess meant to stop the land from going towards destruction.

Will Kiara live long enough to decide whether or not she'll take her position in the Empyrean, or go back to Earth with her mother?
