There's a an ol' saying that if you let something go and it comes back to you; it was meant to be yours. But if it doesn't come back it never was yours. A soldier to let go of everything, to leave everything he is for someone else. Or that someone else to let everything she stood for the one thing that held her together (for her other half). The only word I can only say is the ulitmate 'Sacrifice'. For two people to sacrifice for the other. Is it a beauty or is it tragic? Can love be found again? After a warzone?

(Yo, writing club kids, this is the story.) Two people are connected in a way that they can't even imagine. A profound connection that leads both of them to recovery in the face of mental illness and abuse. They both stand through the storm, letting their sadness infect them and sicken them, much like a cancer, but they manage to recover, but how?
