Emma Grace- a young 18 yr old enjoying her summer break with her best friend, and secret crush, Jeremiah Tidwell before going off to college. Knowing she doesn't have long left before school starts she finally decides to tell Jeremiah about her crush on him unaware of what his reaction will be.
Jeremiah Tidwell- a 20 year old worker on Emma's fathers' farm. since the first time he caught Emma staring at him while he worked, he knew she was the "one". with golden blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, she was his best friend and secret crush. unable to confront his feelings and face rejection, he settles for just being her friend.

One day everything changes. after spending another summer day with Jeremiah, she tells him how she feels about him. Scared to admit his feelings, he runs. From her and the community. Now 6 years have passed. When fate brings them together again, will he have another chance or is it to late?
