Anyu, a stubborn, fifteen-year-old girl who lives with her family in Churchill, Manitoba, only wants to have some freedom. Her obnoxious siblings and demanding parents are the biggest obstacles in her way.
Meanwhile, on the barren tundra on the shore of Hudson Bay, a young polar bear struggles to raise her starving cubs. As she fights against the changing climate, Anyu fights against her family.
