I run through the forest and try to keep my clothes and hair from the arms of the grabbing trees, I’m searching, searching for what? I’m not sure anymore but I do know if I don’t find it soon, someone will die. I soon stumble across a clearing and see what I’m searching for, my uncle, he is limp in the hands of another man who is drinking from his neck. I am frozen to the spot and I try to get my brain to work, I need to get out of here. I watch him as he stops drinking and drops my uncle to the ground, his eyes snap to my face. I don’t dare to make a sound. I don’t dare to move. I can see the crimson blood of the uncle I loved dripping from his mouth. He sped towards me in a blur; I closed my eyes waiting, waiting for a pain that never came. I heard a whisper “Darling, run as fast as you can. Run as quickly as your feet will take you. You can hide darling, you can. But no one escapes me”.

My mouth falls open and no sound comes out so he just shakes his head with a laugh. "Ah... she likes to keep me a secret. Until the next, Camilla..." And with that, he is gone right before my eyes. It's as if the bubble pops because when I close my eyes and open them again, the halls are completely empty and I'm panting against the wall. I bring my hand to the bite on my neck. Nothing. I ran after him, my vision getting blurry as my tears began to flow. He kept banging on the back window of the car, shouting things I couldn’t get because it was too muffled. I could see his eyes wide with fear and worry, and it made me cry more. But, because I was not born for running, it didn’t take too long for me to get tired. Kai quickly noticed that, the same time I saw those tears that gleamed at the corner of his eyes. “Kai! Don’t leave me! Kai!” I yelled, sobbed as my legs refused to move faster. “KAI, PLEASE! COME BACK! KAI!” For some reason, I knew that that would be the last time I would see him, so I willed myself to continue running even if it would kill me. When I saw him shifting away from the window, I almost lost hope, thinking that he listened to his parents and would really stop befriending me. But then I saw him again. He moved so fast and swift that he managed to open a side window before his parents could stop him. “Please don’t cry, princess! I will come back and find you!” His parents tried again to remove him from the window, but he almost hugged the edges for dear life just so they couldn’t. “YOU HAVE TO PROMISE YOU WILL WAIT FOR ME, RILEY!” “I promise!” A sob escaped from the back of my throat, so I gulped the huge lump that formed in it, and shouted with all the energy left in me, “I WILL WAIT FOR YOU! KELLAN, I PROMISE!” With that, we both stopped. I stopped running; he stopped struggling. And, before his parents could completely close the car window, he threw something at me that almost made me laugh. A candy.

His attire was a black suit which seemed out of place considering he was standing in an alleyway. If I manage to escape I want to be confident that'd I'd be able to have this bastard put behind bars. Again if... His eyes shift, my eyes widening as his eyes turn from a dark blue to a pool of black, red veins trailing along from his pupil to the edge of his eyes. His voice is dark as he commands, "Show me that pretty little neck of yours." ೋღ🌹ღೋ ⚠️ Warning!!!
