It started late at night on the streets of New Orleans, when a crazy-looking old man with crimson eyes and matted hair bit her and shoved his blood down her throat. Ever since then she's been... different. She acquired a deep hatred for garlic, which she used to love, she could hear things from almost two miles away, her green eyes started to turn a strange silver, her skin was a shade paler than it should be, and her throat felt uncomfortably cold, but nothing would warm it. She felt that she needed something, desperately. She just didn't know what. But, most horrifying of all, she didn't have a reflection. No matter what mirror she looked into, nothing looked back at her. At first she thought she was going crazy, until one day when she awoke to a gorgeous stranger casually sitting on her couch, saying his name was Adam Grayson, and that he could help her. Now Scarlett is introduced to a dark new world. A shadow world, hidden in a place she'd never expect-through a mirror.
