Sparrow and Astrid, two roommates and best friends, can't help but wish for something to happen. Something to cure the boredom that their lives caused. And something does happen, but not in a good way. Police show up at their door with a warrant for their arrest, and during their trial, they found out they have been framed for the murder of Sparrow's mother. They are deemed guilty, and sentenced to life in jail. But after their first night, they are woken up and told that they have been selected for a government program, letting them out of prison. By force. The two roommates get a bad feeling about this, and they resist, but are sedated. They wake up with 10 other criminals in a facility, where everything is white, pristine, and blinding. As time goes on in this facility, they are experimented on, and are all trapped together. This leads to friendship, rivalries, love, and the discovery that this place is a worse hell than prison could've ever been.
