Many people wonder what it had to of been like for homosexuals during older times. This is a beautiful but hard story about the forbidden love Charlotte has for Ruth based on the 1960s. Charlotte is married to an abusive man and Ruth is her childhood best friend. Charlotte starts to realize she has more feelings for Ruth than she can handle. *Throughout every other chapter is A chapter from Charlotte's point of view and the next of Ruth's.* Based on the story of Fried Green Tomatoes but with a little twist to it. :)
