Elise never knew why Adam Vilient left her, or what she did, but she hated herself for it, with every muscle in her body, she hated every centimeter. Was this enough to set her over the edge?
"Pulling her blonde hair behind her ear, she gazed into her ugly blue eyes reflecting back in the mirror. This was an ultimate low. Her wrist was smooth, no scars, no cuts, nothing. It brought her back to when she was happy. Being only 23, Elise knew she had her whole life ahead of her, but still she raised her shaky hand that held the knife above her wrist. "
This book isn't graphic, just a little story I wanted to challenge myself with. Yes, it does have some deeper conflict or content, but nothing too hard to read. It does center around depression and loss, which is a deeper subject matter. Don't be surprised if I don't publish for days or even weeks, because this is harder to write than it seems. Feel free to comment and star the chapters, thanks!
