A girl named Keno is born during the sickness of her mother. Seconds after her birth, her mother passes away, and she is left to live alone with her achoholic and abusive father in a small apparment. She feels she is cursed, due to being born as a neko, half cat, half human. She lives her life as a shy and neglected girl who seems to think that there's nothing left worth it in life.
