Lilliana Reyes is a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, working to find the super soldier lost at sea. When she does, she finds something else worth looking into as well. It was a blue cube, called the tesseract, as she soon found out.
Once they have recovered the super soldier, Captain America, she monitors him until he awakes. Perhaps there was some reason why Nicholas J. Fury wanted to find him.
He never told her anything, just gave her orders and she followed them.
Ahead in time, she would never know what was going to happen to her life, or her life working at S.H.I.E.L.D.
