Amber is an independent, strong, loyal, & down female who tries to stay away from love & drama. But if you start something, she will finish it! She keeps her circle small & will never give her body to any dude. She still hasn't found him & she's not desperate for him at this point & time. Amber is a senior in high-school who helps take care of her younger sister Erica a lot. Her mom works the night shift & often works extra hours due to their dad walking out on the family. One day Amber stumbles into Jayden who is said to be no good, yet Amber eventually gives him a chance. Jayden just likes to cool it with his squad. No, he doesn't gang-bang, but he's had a bad reputation ever since he slipped up & started hanging out with Deonté. He hasn't seen Deonté ever since "the situation". A series of events leads to family drama that not everyone can handle!

They were inseparable as kids - Dream (MC) and Malik (LI). He was her protector, her best friend, her first love. Until one night - a betrayal, a lie, and a violent mistake - tore them apart. Now, years later, she's back in The District after trying to start over. Malik's not the same boy - he's running things now. And when her little brother gets mixed up with Malik's crew, she's forced back into the chaos she swore she'd escape. Love, hate, loyalty, and danger collide - because in The District, you don't get to outgrow your past.
