William DeShane Mikaeleson. He's my son. The son that I never knew that I had. The son that I never knew that I wanted, until now. He reminds me of her. The girl that captivated me. Her stubbornness is found in the way that he puts up a fight against every little thing that I say and her inappropriate humor lies within him as well, especially the way that he flirts with women.

He was brought into this world as a gift to me, something that I don't deserve. I ruined his mother and in return, she ruined me. His presence tears at an old wound that continues to bleed, despite the time that it's been given to heal. In every way, he is her. With her death, brought precious life. This life is William's and I wouldn't want any other person standing alongside me and our family as we continue to fight my enemies.
