Shin was a star lover. Batid niyang kahit kailan ay hindi niya maaabot ang mga bituin sa kalangitan pero tanggap niya iyon. But then Polaris entered her life. He was named after the brightest star. True to the meaning of his name, he was the brightest star in her life. Kaya lang ay may ibang babae na itong itinatangi. Alam niyang kabilang na rin ito ngayon sa mga bituing hindi mapapasakanya. But she was willing to give it a try. One fateful night, she seduced him. Ipinagkaloob niya ang sarili rito. Walang kasiguraduhan kung mamahalin siya nito in return. That's the risk of loving a star, she realized.

This story was published by Lifebooks. I'm posting this complete, published copy. I wrote it last year and this is one of my personal favorites from all the stories I've written. :) Enjoy reading!

Every days passing by, mas lalong lumalalim ang pagtingin niya rito. At sa paglalim noon ay hindi na niya kaya pang itigil o pigilan ang nararamdaman niya. He made her feel the butterflies in her stomach. He was so gentle and perfect for her ideal man. His words and questionable gestures made her fall in love with him. His actions made her risk everything and do things she had never done before. Kahit walang kasiguraduhan ay sumugal siya. However, things got confusing when Ian reciprocated her feelings, yet he was doing the opposite of what he should do as a lover. Her insecurities are starting to build up. May relasyon na sila pero mixed signal pa rin ang natatanggap niya. Ian proved to her that the line, "Sa una lang masaya," is true. And when Ian made a decision, that's when she felt the complete emptiness in her heart. The decision that would hurt them and tear them apart. That's when she started questioning her worth as a girlfriend...as a woman. She fell...miserably, and he's not there to catch her and mend her heart. I was busy at work and school, and so I had to postpone updating it. A family member of mine encouraged me to continue writing the story. If at any point ay may kakilala kayo who is going through the exact same situation, wala po akong pakealam. Wag na po mag-urirat kung tungkol kanino at para kanino ang istoryang ito. Pero nakasisiguro po ako na may mapupulot na kahit konting aral ang magbabasa nito. Rated R po yung story (and I dunno the reason for them to give me such rating. Mehehehe!)
