Ada has had it tough her entire life. Her dad walked out when she wasn't even old enough to talk, her mother struggled to make enough money for the two of them to live on, and now she's forced to live with a complete stranger after her mother is hospitalized after a terrible accident. 

Samuel is the stranger that takes in Ada. He provides for her more than enough. He claims that he is like a father to Ada and only sees her in a way a father could only see his daughter.

But that Father-daughter bond that Sam thinks him and Ada have is not a father-daughter bond at all.
