August Alsina grew up in the "slums" of New Orleans, facing tragedy after tragedy. After  the death of his brother, Mel, he decided to start making changes in his life. He took his life story and created beautiful, relatable music for all people. In his first album, Testimony, he bled his heart out, detailing harsh remnants from his past. What will be next for the man who had nothing, but seems to have it all? 

Kimberly Lowe was born into privilege and never had to work for anything. Not until her parents were killed in a car wreck when she was 17. With no family and no knowledge of how life works, she falls into corruption and does whatever it takes to survive. Just when she feels like giving up, she comes across a miracle that changes her life.
