What Iris hadn't planned on was an existential crisis, layers of anxiety and a hole in her heart the size of Devon. So, when Lands End no longer feels like home for Iris, and her plans crumble before her very eyes, she decides to take a job as a waitress in a hotel 874 miles away in John O'Groats, Scotland. Three years down the line and Iris is still there, but when an old friend walks through the doors offers her of an adventure away from the comfort of her new-found recluse, Iris begins to wonder whether she's really done what she set out to do when she left Lands End.
