After suffering three years of an abusive relationship, Nadia had enough and quickly packed some clothes and enough money to support her and her dog Skyler long enough for Nadia to find a job, and left. Leaving no trace behind they moved out of the country, hoping Nadia's ex-girlfriend won't find them. Finding a quiet little town where no one knows who she is, she finds a small house at the edge of town for a good price and buys it. Moving in quickly, Nadia starts searching for a job immediately, which wasn't hard to do since a newspaper was already sitting on her doorstep. Meeting many new people in this small town Nadia finds herself falling in love once again but is quickly reminded of her past. Will Nadia be able to live happily long enough to break free from her past and love again or will her past fray her trust so badly she'll never be able to love again.
