"When are you coming back?" I ask, my hands clenching. I'm almost positive they'll snap before he finally responds. "I won't be coming back," he says quietly. "This is the last time I get to see you." Then I broke. My eyes started watering. And before I knew what was happening, I was sobbing. Adam's hand gently goes up and down my arm. "I have to go, Emily." With that, he stands up and walks out of the room. This is it. My first love ever, is leaving me. For good this time.
