However, Christian soon started to realise that maybe there was something more to it. As their friendship deepened, it became clear to Christian that Harley was interested in him; perhaps in more than a platonic way. Although Christian had never considered himself to be gay before, he found himself feeling a strange kind of excitement whenever he was around Harley. As time went by, it became apparent to Christian that Harley was using him to try and fill the void that had been left by his brother, who had died years before. Apparently, Christian was a dead ringer for his deceased sibling, and Harley seemed to be trying to replace him with Christian instead. The knowledge left Christian feeling increasingly uncomfortable, and eventually he was forced to confront Harley and tell him that he couldn't continue like this.
