Talitha (Talli) Hester is far from the 'perfect Christian'. She swears, skips church, does most of the things Christians aren't supposed to do. However, she makes it her goal to always go to youth group at her Lutheran Church.

Why?

Maybe it's because Brett Bancroft, the hottest guy Talli has ever laid her eyes on, goes to youth group. Maybe it's because she gets to see her best friend, Rosie Jennings. Maybe its because the annual youth gathering trip is coming up soon. Maybe its the fact that only on Wednesdays does Talli get to see all her friends shes basically known since Sunday school.

Talli has one problem, however.

Her crush, Brett, has a girlfriend, Gwen Maddock.

oh yeah and she might be catching feelings for Gwen's brother, Mayson.

Okay, maybe that's two problems...
