Every year in the small town of Holly Grove,  twenty-two year old Alexa Esmond and her friends play a game called Mistletoe. The game takes place at the annual Christmas party in the town's square and is rather simple.  If your friend caught you sneaking glances or staring at a cute guy, then they will tell you "Mistletoe!" You would then have to somehow get the guy to kiss you before the party ended, otherwise you would be forced to go on a (horrible) date chosen by the other friend.  Luckily for Alexa, no guy has ever caught her eye, that is, until this year.  And it just so happens to be the guy who broke her heart years ago.

They have 25 days until the games are over and until they get to meet their secret Santa face to face. Not all gifts come in the form of money, makeup or clothes some come in the form of friendships and maybe even love.
