"Lets dance" he said holding out his hand waiting for me to take it "Come on Dani it'll be fun"

I take his hand trusting him because when I'm with him I always have fun that's his specialty, making me feel special at times like these. I'm happy when we hang out I love the way he makes me laugh and smile all the time with his cocky jokes and corny nicknames.

"You ready" he asked flipping on the car radio. We began to dance in the rain like nobody's business because it isn't anybody's business but ours and it will forever be ours.

Living in the past is easier than moving on from it.

Dani Miller never had a childhood, never got to ride a bike, hang with friends, or do anything a normal child would. Dani had to grow up quickly all her life, when she was seven she lost all hope and herself.

Dani had to go into a foster care after a tragic event happened and has stayed there for ten years in and out of foster homes never getting a place to settle down, never trusting.

She's sent to her 12th foster home. What will happen when doors that Dani has been banging on for the longest of time finally open? What happens when she meets a bad boy with a golden heart, can he fix hers?

What happens when Dani meets Ace Black, and he shows her how to be a kid and live a little and she shows him how to grow up and be a man not a boy.
