Seven years.
The time that's passed since that Christmas Eve at Hogwarts.

Two months.
The time that's passed since Sirius Black betrayed him and murdered his friends.

12:03.
The time that will haunt Remus for the rest of his life.

It is Christmas, the first Christmas Remus has had to live through since the death of his closest friends. Desperate to believe that, at least for one day, Sirius hadn't been an unfeeling traitor, Remus relives the Christmas Eve the two of them had shared during their fifth year at Hogwarts. Everything that Sirius ever said to him, Remus has nearly convinced himself, was a lie, designed to manipulate him, erase suspicion, extract information. And yet - well, what is Christmas but a time for hope? - maybe, just that one night, it wasn't.

"You're different from what I expected," she said softly. "How so?" he asked, glancing at her. "I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare." He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that." OR Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
