As Natsu and Lucy's bond grows stronger and stronger, and they become weaker, Lucy must face the facts. When Lucy becomes deathly ill, the pair must find the will to survive while they hope for a shrinking chance at being rescued. But will being rescued be enough, of will their flickering hearts burn out.

(I recently read this story over again and it is FREAKING SO DEPRESSING...all except for the ending. A lot of things happen very quickly but just bind with me.)
