Piper Aspen has lived in Florida her whole life. She believes everyone in the world shod be happy and that without laughter, you won't be truly happy. She then meets a new girl who never shows much emotion and endlessly is calm. When she meets that certain someone, she finds them to be not as predictable as everyone else. 

These two girls don't realize that their meeting could be so influential on their life as they thought. The two become the best of friends, sharing secrets and fun times. It's those two against the world. Romance blooms and they become more than just friends.
