Erin Winter didn't ever want her dad to get remarried. In fact, he didn't tell her that he was until he was about to propose to her. The biggest problem about this is that the person her dad is marrying is the mother of the biggest jock in school, Brody James.

Brody James is the alpha of the Golden Solstice Pack. His dad had passed away about three years ago and his mom is just getting married because his dad wasn't actually her mate. But she has finally found him. Brody appreciates him even though he's human and is making them live outside of the really nice pack house. He has just turned sixteen and is hoping to find his mate. He just never realized how fast he'd find her or who she would be.
