This is a story about a boy who is gonna be 17 this time I.e.he is presently 16 . He is called Joe by his friends but his actual name is John. He has nyctophobia that exactly is the fear from dark.

He is really afraid of ghosts and feels himself in a place where all the ghosts and spirits which he feels that they would harm him.
